Native title

• “Future acts”, including:

  • Advice work (including Indigenous engagement strategy development).

  • Agreement drafting and negotiation (and associated processes such as arranging and attending agreement authorisation meetings).

  • Regulator interface (e.g., acting on agreement registration applications to the Native Title Registrar, and on future act objections).

• Claims work – representing parties to native title claims and appeals in the Federal Court and High Court.

• General litigation – representing parties to National Native Title Tribunal inquiries, acting for parties to judicial reviews and other proceedings involving native title issues.
